The Raven: Creation & Knowledge - Bringer of the Light and Magic, the raven is one of the most prominent figures of the North West Coast first peoples. The Raven is credited with giving the light, fire, and water to mankind. The Raven is the transformer, trickster and creator. He had the power to change at will into an animal form or to that of a human being. The Raven is known in legends as the one who released the sun, moon, and stars; discovered man in a clamshell; brought the salmon and the water; and taught man how to fish and hunt. His creation of the new by amalgamation of things he has "stolen", makes him a fitting symbol of quantum gravity and emergent gravity and an ispiration in our quest. Quantum gravity related proposals in a nutshell
|
Thanks for looking at our Research section. As you may have already noticed this site is still under development. We are currently enlisting people to write a small overview on a particular subject of their expertise. (We will provide access for designated members to the research pages, such that changes can be made at any time.) The length of the overview is entirely up to the author(s). The idea behind the research section is to provide background information and references for students and newcomers to the field. In order to stimulate interest in the project we have added a list of possible topics below, but we are happy to add more topics upon request. Moreover there are no restrictions on the scientific nature of subjects added, as long as they are to some extent connected to gravity, quantum gravity, or quantum physics. We hope that our research pages be an up-to-date and scientifically sound source of knowledge. Due to the restricted access and quality control by other site members our collection has the potential to supersede any other existing online resource, such as related sites on wikipedia.
