How to edit research site

The Emergent Community Research websites are not accessible to all visitors on our website, but only selected account holders are able to access individual sites, such as for example Black Hole Experiments. If you would like to add and/or edit a site please contact us for permission.

Let us explain at hand of an example how it works.

  1. We have contacted Matt Visser to write a small overview on Induced Gravity;
  2. Matt responded and agreed to edit and maintain the site;
  3. We opened the "Edit" feature for "Induced Gravity" for Matt's account on our website;
  4. From that moment on Matt, once logged in to our website, can go to Emergent Community Research and once he is on the Induced Gravity site can choose between "View", "Edit" and "Track";
  5. Matt can change the website any time without contacting us;
  6. If Matt decides to share this responsibility with other member on this site we will add them to the list of peoples that are able to edit the Induced Gravity site;
  7. Naturally, we are happy to help editing the site.

We are of the opinion that it is better to keep the access restricted. By now we have already a very good list of people commited to write up the summaries. Before publishing who is writing what we will contact the people and ask for their permission yet again.
